When feeding mango to your bearded dragon, PEEL the fruit and remove the pit. You can chop up the fruit’s flesh into small pieces or offer it as slices. As with all fruits, feed mangoes to your bearded dragon in MODERATION as part of a balanced diet.
Pro Tip: Baby bearded dragons should not eat mango because they are still growing and need all the nutrients they can get from their natural diet.
How Much Mango Can Bearded Dragons Have and How Often?
Mangoes are a healthy treat for bearded dragons and can be fed to them ONCE a week. When feeding mango to your bearded dragon, give them around 1-2 small slices or a few small chunks.
It’s one of the few treats that can be fed to beardies weekly instead of monthly; just remember to keep the quantities SMALL so that they don’t end up with too much sugar in their system (which can be very bad for their health).

2-Vitamins E and K
Mango is also a good source of vitamins E and K. Vitamin E is an important antioxidant that helps to PROTECT bearded dragons from free radicals. In contrast, vitamin K is necessary for proper blood clotting.
While bearded dragons don’t typically NEED extra vitamin E or K in their diet, it’s still good to know that mango can provide these nutrients.
Mango is a good source of fiber, which is vital for bearded dragons because it HELPS with their digestion. Fiber also helps to keep bearded dragons feeling full and satisfied after they eat.

2. Low in Calcium
Mango is also LOW in calcium, which can be a problem for bearded dragons.  Calcium is vital for bearded dragon health because it helps with BONE and JOINT development.
Pro Tip: Bearded dragons that don’t get enough calcium can develop health problems such as metabolic bone disease.
For this reason, it’s essential to supplement bearded dragons’ diets with calcium when feeding them mango.
